annual blue eyed grass

Here is Sisyrinchium exile of the family iridaceae:

This is, of course, yet another example of blue eyed grass, only not blue. this is a very pretty flower, smaller and less common around Jackson. this particular flower was found in late April at the second gate of Mule Jail. this little plant is native to North America.
