here is itea virginica of the family grossulariaceae.


This photo was taken at Mule Jail on the south end of the lake. This little plant seems to have a terrific fall foliage, however, i've yet to experience it. i suspect that it is my lack of being in the woods during the fall. it is something i'll have to look for and photograph this coming fall.
