This is Ipomoea lacunosa of the family convolvulaceae:

This flower was found growing on the fence of the Veterans' Stadium parking lot fence in Jackson Mississippi in December of 2007.  This plant is native to the lower 48 though not welcome in all states.  It has the dubious distinction of noxious weed status in Arizona (I'll refrain from any puns) and Arkansas.  It is found throughout the southeast as far north as Canada.

This lilliputian flower belongs to Dichondra carolinenses in the family of convolvulaceae:

This little plant is an example of an axillary flower arrangement.  This particular plant was found on the Brandon property on April 4th of 2009.  This is diminutive flower roughly a quarter the diameter of a US penny.

this was taken in front of parking garage A at UMMC when the construction fence was still standing during the construction of the new hospital building. this vine is of the same family as the common morning glory.
