brazilian vervain

here is verbena brasilliensis, of the family verbenaceae.


this was taken off of Hwy 49 in the Mississippi delta. relative to its cousin, verbena, it is a much larger plant, with pale flowers that are smaller, but similarly arranged in a rounded cluster.
