combleaf yellow false foxglove

here is aureolaria pectinata of the family scrophulariaceae:

This particular plant was photographed the day of my dear sweet cousin Hilary's wedding to her manly counterpart compatriot and constant companion: Trey or as the French would say: Three.

as for the plant, it is native to the United States and can be found throughout the south, but not above the Mason-Dixie line. at least, a. pectinata has yet to be documented above the Mason-Dixie line. this little plant was found growing in Brandon, Mississippi, by the side of a road.
